Well, I just got a promotion at work so I think it's best I put off TTC a little while. Don't want to mess things up by going on maternity leave 8 months after I show up! DH doesn't think it's a big deal, but I would feel better taking a break. We've been TTC for 7 months now with no luck, so maybe it was meant to be anyway... Any advice on keeping my spirits up/words of wisdom?
Re: Taking a break
That's a tough decision to make. I just started a new position as well and I worried it would be bad to take maternity eave soon after starting. But then I figure if my employer is going to frown upon it then I probably don't want to work there because how are they going to feel about any other family things or having to take off days when LOs are sick, etc. I'm leaving it in God's hands. Also....I figure it could still take a while to conceive and so I may have wasted timed by putting TtC on hold.
Sorry that probably wasn't helpful, just my experience.

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
I'd say if its all new people, I'd take a couple months off. New jobs/environments are stressful enough, who wants added stress/distraction of TTC?! If its a promotion within your office where you know everyone, I'd be more willing to continue TTC.
