Did you treat your babies as "preemies" when it came to visitors and going places etc? Our pediatrician told us it's best not to go to super public places for the first 6 weeks... but we're past that point and now I'm not sure if it's ok or still not a good idea. They have had the synagis shots so I guess that helps, but is it still bad to take them out? What about the holidays? We're planning on going to our family's Thanksgiving but is that a bad idea too? I keep thinking of them as "normal" babies but I'm not sure if I should be more careful.
Thanks!
Re: Another 34 weeker question...
My pediatrician is insisting we treat them as preemies and basically doesn't want me taking them out all winter unless I have to, limit visitors, no holiday get togethers, no children visitors who are in daycare or exposed to children in daycare.. on and on.
AND.. my babies have been freakin denied for the Synagis shots, appeal denied also.. so I am all the more freaked out about what I expose them too. So yep.. mine are going to be treated as preemie for sure.
