Avent bottles are a PITA

Any advice to close those suckers so they don't leak? They are driving me crazy! TIA!

Which Avent bottles are you using? I have the Naturals in glass and the only time they have leaked was due to me screwing it on all weird.

We use them and don't have that problem. Are you sure you are putting them together correctly?

The bottle leaked when we didn't put it on correctly.  There's an extra ring that you insert which my husband and mom would forget.  If you screw it in with all the pieces correctly it should be okay.

This. They've never leaked for me.

Hmmm, maybe I will double check the box... Maybe I am missing the o-rings...

Mine leaked all the time too, even after trying all the tricks to make them not leak. We switched to Playtex drop ins and are much happier.

They are my favorite bottles, but do leak from time to time for me too.

Make sure that you have the little o-ring seated properly. I've found that if I don't push them down tightly the bottle will leak. I just put them on the top of the bottle and then turn it upside down and lightly bang it, just to make sure. Probably unnecessary, but I haven't had one leak since.

Ditto. My poor Mom was feeding LO when I was taking a shower and she gave LO a milk bath on accident because she forgot that extra piece.  Oops.

I have the Avent manual pump and it comes with a 4 oz Avent bottle. Sometimes I'll forget to put the ring around it and it leaks evvveerrrywhere.

If it leaks with the ring, then maybe you have a defective lot?

This hazy mommy brain is going to drive me batty. The o-rings were in the back of my cupboard. I had friends come over and put the bottles away when I was in the hospital. I just tested a bottle with them assembled properly and they worked perfectly. Face palm.

Same here. DS loves Playtex. Sadly I have a ton of Avent ones on hand.
