Dollar PG Tests

Has anybody used the Dollar General or Dollar Tree PG Tests? Just curious to see if they work.

I have. They definitely work but I think they have less dye in them. I freaked myself out after my first BFP by using a Dollar Tree test in the evening that was BFN. I dipped a FRER in the same urine and got a clear positive. (They are probably also less sensitive than FRERs).

Question: Why wouldn't they work? They are the same technology/strip as the pricey HPT. 

To answer your question: Yes, they work. As long as they are pink dye. I got my very first BFP with DD on a dollar store First Choice Brand. Go for it.

yes they work just the same, but in my experience, the "positive" line was much lighter than on an expensive one.

Yes, the do work, but I ended up just buying a bunch of Wondfos because they were even cheaper.

I took a Dollar Tree test and the line was very very faint. I ended up going to the store to get a digital.

That is how i fist found out i was pregnant. I took 2 of them 2 different times and they were both positive! Then i went out and bought a "better" brand and that was positive too

Yes, got my first indication of pregnancy on tests I bought at a 99cents store. I confirmed with a digital easy-read a few days later.

Yep, they work.  How I found out & follow up with blood work!

When I took one early it was very very faint. However after I was confirmed pregnant with the other more expensive ones I did retest later and they came up positive. Dont use unless you have already missed your period

I used two dollar tree tests and got my first two BFP before going to get a more expensive one just because I wanted to see the work "pregnant" on it. However the digital one quit working after 2 days. The Dollar tree ones are still showing 2 bright pink beautiful lines. Is it weird I want to scrapbook them? Ya I am a FTM.

I got a negative on the dollar store test at 13 DPO and a maybe line at 14DPO. I retested at 14 DPO with a FRER and it was a clear, dark line. I wouldn't test early with the dollar store tests.
