With DD, we had a Snap and Go stroller, which you just click the car seat into, and a BOB jogging stroller, and that did us just fine for at least 6 months. Granted, we don't go very many places requiring a stroller with her, and the BOB was used to take her for walks around the neighborhood or to the park.
I just recently got the inexpensive Jeep stroller that has great reviews on Amazon. I think it's around $50, but I was able to get it for $36 during a promo giving us 20% off and it may have been cheaper to begin with.
I plan to hold off on double strollers until this one is a bit older, as I plan to carry the new one and use what I have with DD, but I do anticipate getting a double BOB and perhaps a lightweight double of some kind down the road.
Jogger are usually larger. I would only use them for jogging, fast walking/long walks, or if you're at an outdoor event on grass/gravel. Also they are larger when folded up.
Regular strollers are smaller and tend to be better if you're going to be indoors or in tighter spaces.
If I could go back in time, I would have gotten three strollers: a jogging stroller, a nice umbrella stroller after 6 months, and a snap n go for when they're in the infant carseat.
We have a travel system stroller, that I rarely use and was a waste of $$$. I feel bad for the person that got it for us off our registry.

How old should the baby be before you start running with the stroller? Do most jogging strollers allow for a car seat? This is all so new to me.
I do believe a lot of the joggers allow for the car seat option. As far as how old I think that is a matter of personal preference. I wouldn't get a jogger unless you are going to really use it a lot.
With DS, we got the City Mini with the infant seat attachment; it has been awesome all the way through. I would highly recommend it for an everyday stroller as it is lightweight, fold relatively small and DS still seems really comfortable in it with plenty of room to grow. We also bought a used Bumbleride Indie, which is an allterrain stroller, from Craig's List. I can jog with it and it handles our country roads and lumpy yard really well. The downside to a jogger or all terrain is that they are much heavier. We bought the City Mini GT double for DS and new baby.

With DD we got a travel system and a bob and much preferred the maneuverability of the bob over the graco we had. We ended up selling the graco and using the bob with the infant attachment. Neither DH or I are joggers and we love it. DD is almost 3 and still fits in it comfortable and likes riding in it for walks.
We got the uppababy vista with DD it's great and I honestly didn't see myself actually "jogging" so it seemed perfect for the park, mall, etc. we will get the 2nd seat for it, but now I want a double jogger since I actually run with my stroller a lot. If I didn't, my stroller would be perfect and serve all of my needs.
We bought a regular Graco travel system for DS. Then when he was 6 mos I started a stroller bootcamp and really started to like running. So we bought a BOB Revolution SE. I continued to run with it until I got pregnant this time. It has replaced our Graco as DSs go-to stroller even when not running. It is wider than a regular stroller but lighter and more easy to manoeuver.
You can attach most carseats with an adaptor you by separately.

Most strollers say 4 months. AAP recommends 6 months. You should never run with the infant seat attached. The center of gravity is much higher.
We use a maxi cosi loola stroller. The seat snaps out so that it becomes a snap and go, or keep the seat in and it is an umbrella stroller. We also have a,bob revolution. It goes everywhere with us, including plane trips. By far one of my favorite purchases.
Eta. All jogging strollers offer a car seat attachment. However make sure that the jogging stroller was meant for jogging. There are some strollers with the same look that were not meant for actual jogging.

I got a Snap n Go (which I loved) and a Chicco Liteway (which I rarely used). DS was more of a baby-carrier baby. I never bought a jogger and never missed it; I don't jog. For just walking around, the Liteway was fine.
For our everyday stroller, we have the City Mini. I absolutely love it. It is lightweight, easy to use, comfortable for my son, and super easy to fold (one handed!). You can get the adapter to use with the infant carseat. In my opinion, the City Mini plus carseat adapter is just as easy to use as the Snap n Go (I've had both).
For a jogging stroller, we bought a BOB used from craigslist. I (used to) jog quite a bit so I was happy to have a separate jogging stroller. The BOB is wonderful for jogging, but I wouldn't want to use it as an everyday stroller because it is big, bulky, and kind of annoying to fold.

Same here. I will say that I used our graco travel system a lot because the snap n go was a royal PIA because the underneath storage is completely inaccessible with the carseat in place, but I should have found a jogger with a car seat adapter.
This time, because I really don't see the point in multiple doubles, I'm hoping to find a City Select double 2nd hand. It isn't a jogger, but it is more all terrain than regular doubles. Option 2 would be a cheap tandem and a double BOB or other jogger.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
We have three strollers, and I like them all for different reasons.
The giant double jogger: I love this stroller. It is great for walks around the neighborhood, to the park, running, and travel. It is big enough for my older son to sit in if he wants to like if he gets tired after a long walk, or if we are running and he can't keep up. It reclines all the way for a sleepy baby, it takes a carseat if needed. But, it's bulky. It's not good for shopping, as it does not fit in stores. It takes up a lot of trunk space.
The single Graco LiteRider: this stroller is awesome for shopping trips, the mall, activities where I need to have stuff with me, but only need to push one kid. Like the zoo. Carseat clips in, but it doesn't recline all the way so I didn't feel comfortable putting the little ones in it until they were 4 or 5 months. It still takes up a lot of trunk space, but not nearly as much as the jogger.
The umbrella stroller: great for my 25lb moose of an 11month old when I'm just running errands and can't carry him. It pops open, pops closed just as easily, takes up virtually no room in the trunk. This stroller has become part of my everyday equipment.
Good luck choosing a stroller!

I love my BOB too. Are you going to get a double BOB? DS is 2 and by the time I will use it he will be 3. Kohls sells them and you can use the 30% coupon code on them!

I second looking for a used one.
