one tooth?!

Hello! My DS had his first tooth pop through almost two weeks ago... I always thought when the first tooth pops, the second one does too! we are still waiting for the second bottom tooth... how long did it take for your LO to cut the second tooth after the first one?

Ours was one week exactly. But I know someone whose daughter has had one tooth for over a month!

About a month  #1 on Christmas day, #2 about a month later, #3 into February and now #4 into March, basically we are averaging 1 tooth a month.

We also just have one tooth. It came out three weeks ago, and there's a huge bump in his gums on the other side, but no second tooth yet.

thank you for the replies! i guess you can tell i am a first time mom... i seriously thought those two little teeth were suppose to pop up together!
