Milk

E was milk protein intolerant.  He gets milk now with a dose of formula because  it took us so long to get him to even drink it.  He doesn't seem to have any other issues other than a rash.  I assume it's eczema.  Would you still give milk to your kid if it caused a rash.  I'm not talking all over his body just a little patch on his leg and sometimes his face will seem to break out.

He has no interest in almond milk and I don't want to give him soy.  He still wants his formula, so basically we are using milk to transition.  He basically gets one part formula to 4 parts milk.

 It's also organic milk.

Re: Milk

  • Lo still gets eczema but I'm not 100 convinced its dairy and she will not eat in the morning until she's had a handful of shredded cheese or string cheese and I don't have time in the morning to deal with her standing at the fridge shrieking and stomping lol. MH has allergies that irritate his throat and things but he doesn't totally avoid those foods so I don't think a rash is a reason to totally cut it out unless its really bothering them. Especially since replacing the nutrition in milk at this age is a huge PITA.

  • Have you tried hemp milk?  I know a few ladies give their LO's hemp milk around here.
