We're just going to stick to our schedule. If he sleeps in the next day, he sleeps in.
So is this what usually happens? I was thinking upping her bed time 15 mins for a few days.
If you want to you can, but I usually just switch day of, same as I would if we traveled across time zones.
When I have kids or animals on meds that need to be same time of the day, I change ten minutes at a time. But I cared for a horse whose med timing was REALLY important, so that made me paranoid about meds.
Not really. He'll probably end up staying up later with the daylight but I think he's ready for a later bedtime anyway since he hangs out and plays/reads in his crib for awhile before he goes to sleep. I just will miss my extra down time before bed.
No. The only time I changed bedtime for the time change was when I really wanted to push DD's bedtime a bit later anyway, so I juts took the opportunity for an easy transition.
We never do anything. He just goes to bed at his usual time. This past DST was the only time we got kinda screwed because he was waking up an hour early for like 2 weeks, but otherwise it's been fine. I'll probably have to wake him up early this time, but then that will just make him tired for his usual naptime at school, so it should be fine.
No. The Spring Forward day doesn't really do anything to him. It is the Fall Back one that I'm screwed. If we make any adjustments, it is during quiet time/nap time. Otherwise, business as usual.
Re: Daylight savings bedtime
I have the same question. And I'm too lazy to google.
The following weekend.

// I love you too. //
I didn't realize it was so soon!

We never readjusted bedtimes. When the kids were smaller, we'd just try to tire them out more on that day.
Same here, babe.
