Lenora

What are your thoughts on Lenora? MN ideas? I like Lenora Elisabeth and Lenora Anne, both family MNs

Edit: thoughts on Lenny for a nickname? I like Norah, but Lenny is a cute alternative to me.

Re: Lenora

  • I love it. I prefer Lenore family name but only bc I would avoid the nn "Nora" at all costs.

    Haha, then Lenora is perfect!

Lenora Corinne is the first thing that pops in my mind.

  • I must say, even though I like Nora, I prefer Lenore to Lenora. But both are nice. Lenora Elizabeth is great.
  • I prefer Lenore but I think Lenora Elisabeth is lovely. Nice choice.

  • I love both Lenora and Lenore. I honestly think you could do Norah as a nickname for either of them!

  • Lenora is ok. I don't like Lenore. I knew a Leonore (I'm not sure how you spell it) It is pronounced Lee-uh-nor/Lee-o-nor

I like Leni as a nn. I think if you are going to use Nora as a nn then just call her Nora

  • I like both if your MN choices. Other options I think sound nice: Danielle, Elise, Grace, Noelle, Renee, Therese

I prefer Nora as a nn over Lenny.

  • I know of an 8 year old girl nn'd Lenny. Super positive associations; she's sweet, smart and so wellmannered but beyond that I think it's kinda spunky and unexpected.

  • I love Lenora. I know a 2.5 year old name Lenora and it's really cute on a little girl and of course grows/ages well.  I don't think she has a nickname, but I think Lenny is very cute (I love masculine nns for very feminine fns), and so is Nora.

A lot of middle names go with Lenora.  Lenora Elisabeth and Lenora Anne are both nice, but I like Elisabeth better. Other ones that I think sound nice:

    Marie

    Collette

    Abigail

    Nicole
