Sleep problems

Hello everyone, I'm new to this so bear with me. My son is now 11 months old. From the time when he was 2 months until about 89 months old he slept all night, in his crib. For the past few months we have been having a huge problem sleeping. He wakes up after a couple hours of sleep and will not go back to sleep in his bed. There's nothing that's changed around him so I'm not sure what has sparked this sudden change. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Re: Sleep problems

  • I haven't dealt with it myself, but I heard there can be a sleep regression around 9-10 months that can last a little while. Here's a blog post that I dug up. There might be some good suggestions in the comments. Hang in there. It's probably just a phase!

  • The past few nights we've been dealing with the same thing. But I know that our issues stem from her getting 3 molars at once :( Poor little thing, they seem sto really bug her at night. She'll go to bed well, but wake up after a few hours grabbing her face. Tonight I'm going to give her tylenol (or maybe ibuprofen) before bed in hope that it helps. Not fun, though. She had been sleeping 13 hrs, but with these teeth she's up twice a night. She can usually soothe herself back to sleep (so we wouldn't go in her room but watch her on the monitor) but last night... not so much. Feel so bad!
