Sony Cybershot, it takes such great pics.  I am on my third Sony, I get one every few years because they just keep getting better.

Cannons are great. I have a cannon G9, which is def at the high end, but I also loved my PowerShot!

I love my casio exilim. I've had it for a few years w/o any problems....knock on wood...

not cheap, but nikon d80.  great quality pics that can even be blown up to poster size and still remain high quality.
