Is anyone a freak like me and love the Academy Awards? When I was in middle school I totally believed I would win one someday. I have come to my senses but I still like to watch. Everyone is starting to show up on the red carpet now. I have seen a few fabulous dresses. So far my favorite is Jennifer Lawrence's.

I am really interested in seeing how Seth MacFarlane does hosting. It could either be really horrible, or really amazing. I don't think he'll go half measure.

I used to love the Oscars as a kid, but it's lost it's luster for me as I have aged. I'm watching tonight, though!

But, I'm sorry, the backwards necklace only works when it's not competing with the back of the dress - it's in the straps!

Incidently, did half of Hollywood's A list women skip last night?

Scarlett was in New York performing in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Was Mila Kunis there? Natalie Portman? Was Michelle WIlliams there? It really was Jennifer Lawrence's night, but it was almost like the women who weren't nominated this year didn't even bother showing up.
