In between poops....solids

How do you handle the sticky inbetweeners? Just had our first poop, post solids and not sure how to handle it. TIA!

I still try to hose off whatever is on there. He's had maybe 3 plop able and he's 9mo. So most are PB sticky and get hosed.

Do you have a sprayer?

If not, you can still swish it off in the toilet, it may take a few flushes and some extra work. I use a Diaper Duck. Actually, I use a Diaper Duck and the end of a broken Diaper Duck to scrape the solids off. Then I wring it out and put it in a hanging wet bag that I keep in the bathroom.

We use a diaper sprayer now but before that we used a good old spatula to scrap the poop off.  Cost a $1 at the dollar store....I kept it right next to the toilet so it didn't "accidentally" get mixed in with the spatula's I use for food lol

For the sticky in between poop we would either spray or use the flushable liners.

This is what we've been doing too (else DH is threatening to give up on CDing).

I also use flushable liners. DS is 21 mo and we've been using them since he started solids at 6 mo. I assumed we would only need them for a few months, but he still gets breastmilk in the AM and PM and so the poop is still really bad. Some of the flushable brands are actually very sturdy so I wash the pee-only ones with his diapers and only flush the poop ones.
