first iui possible tmi

I had my first iui. To be honest it wasnt a good feeling. It hurt at first and then I just had cramping. I used a panty liner becuase I knew that there is potential spotting. Well it is more than light spotting. Any one else experience this should I be contacting my Dr right away or can I wait and see if it stops?

Married in September 2010, started TTC journey November 2012

Me-

7 IUI- 2 CP- 2 BFN

RPL blood work 12/27, showed a balance translocation in chromosome 11;22  

Spouse-

PCOS 4 IUI-4 BFN

New Plan: Reciprocal IVF, me as carrier wife's eggs. Just went through insurance and received partial approval, so my part will go through my IVF benefits and wife's part will be out of pocket. Now just finalizing finance plans to cover the oop costs. Doctors office is in process of moving to a new building so there are no IVF start ups until March/April 2015.

    I really wont worry because I went through the same thing on the 19 when I got mine iui done and I slight cramping and spotting . But that's because she had to open my cervix . if it gets worse then call the doctor . I think you are fine sweetie now you can count down like me. Yeah!!!!! It's driving me crazy!!!

    What would you think is too much spotting? Did you find it painful?

    if it feels like your period then I would go to the doctor. but, check and see and tell me what's going on

    I didn't ever experience more than a light pinkish discharge with any of my iuis, but I have heard that for some people it is more normal to have more bleeding.
    IUI #1 - 10 April 2012 unmonitored and unmedicated with RE 
    IUI #2 - 05 May 2012 unmonitored and unmedicated with RE 
    IUI #3 - 05 July 2012 unmonitored and unmedicated with RE 
    IUI #4 - 30 August 2012 medicated and monitoredLetrozole and Ovidrel Trigger

    I'm going through the same thing right now. I had my 2nd IUI on Thursday and the IUI was pretty painful. They said there would be some bleeding due to scraping or the actual procedure. I wouldn't worry too much but if you feel uncomfortable you should probably call the doctor to set your mind at ease.

    1st Ultrasound 4/22/2014 Baby Squints is PERFECT! Measuring at 6w2d with a heartbeat of 129. EDD: 12/12/14.

    Ultrasound at 18 weeks on 7/14/2014. Baby is healthy and growing just as she should!

    I didn't have any spotting with either of my IUIs but was told it was a possibility.  Call your doc if it will put you at ease. It's better to know then worry about it.  This process is stressful enough as is. Good luck.

    Called the Dr she said it sounds like I was irritated and this is the outcome of that. she said the pain I felt was becuase the wall is thicker when you are about to ovulate. I was told that if the bleeding doesnt stop tomorrow or if I start having a fever to call them. So every thing is good the bleeding has slowed so hopefully tomorrow all is good.

    Just think we both had two IUI's back to back and we got this I feel it don't give up you guys you are my cycle buddies!!
