Does anyone know how much caffeine is in these? When I searched online it looked like a wide range and didn't have specific amounts for each.
1) Small dunkin donuts coffee
2) Tall starbucks coffee
3) K cup - if I make it 10 ounces, that just waters it down more and doesn't add more caffeine, right?
4) Swiss Miss hot chocolate
Thanks!

Re: How much caffeine
So does that mean I should avoid Starbucks? The max per day is 200, right?
Here's what I'm finding:
Small DD: 105 mg
Tall Starbucks: 195 mg
K-cup: varies between 75-150 mg depending on the roast. The darker the roast, the lower the caffeine content.
Hot Cocoa: Varies by brand. 10-70mg generally
Here's where I found it:

Some folks say 300 mg is the Max but its all a personal comfort thing. A shot of espresso has much less caffeine than a brewed cup so I've been having a tall Starbucks latte instead of brewed coffee cause the tall latte only has 75 mg of caffeine.
There's always decaf too if you just want the taste!

It will tell you on the bag how many milligrams per serving.
One of our bed and breakfasts on our honeymoon was an organic coffee plantation. I was shocked when they told us that a lighter roast had more caffeine. The darker the roast the longer the beans are cooked. Try telling this to old people... They will never believe you!
On another note, I'm glad this was not a 'can I drink coffee?' post. I had my claws out since I've seen it posted 80 times this week. I'm also coming off my coffee buzz from church. The pastor roasts new batches of fresh coffee for the congregation to enjoy as a hobby. Best church ever! I can't wait for next week. Ha. No idea on amounts of caffeine in any of those items nor would I care. I would enjoy them all.
I always thought the darker roasts were stronger?
eta: I just googled. Apparently they're virtually the same.
Yep--and don't go for the blonde roast, it's got more.
