For some reason there doesn't seem to be a sticky post, but there have been a lot of posts lately who are new to thebump in general and perhaps haven't lurked enough to see how things work.

This board was created for women who have offered each other support on the IF board for 6+ months. They have established their dedication to the community, offered support, and generally gotten to know others here.

This 6 month rule was put in effect out of pure fairness. We have all spent time on IF, and it's a great place to join the boards if you've been trying for years or have a difficult diagnosis to get to know the community.
