So DH and I are thinking about joining the 21st century and getting iphones, we currently have basic cellphones.  How much data does one need?  Is 4gb enough shared between the two of us?  TIA!

We have verizon wireless and use the smallest data plan which I think is 2gb.  We've only had them since December, but that is plenty for the two of us.  Unless you plan on using it as a hot spot for your home internet 2gb should be good. 

And I'm on my phone a lot!

If you have wifi at home, and don't plan on streaming video all the time while out and about using your data, that should be more than enough.

DH and I share 4gb of data. We use our phones a lot for work, emails, and streaming, so that plan definitely works for us.
