SO Confused! Stroller Help!

First time mama here, 17 weeks along with twins! Im super confused as to what the best route is when it comes to carseats/strollers.

The more and more research and shopping that I do, all double strollers dont seem to be compatable for infants. I hear a lot about people setting the carseat in the stroller until they are ok to ride in it normally.. but is that even possible when there are 2 of them?

What methods have you moms found work best? Should I ditch the stroller for now, and get a snap-and-go base that is universal for infant carseats to snap in to? (then im constantly dealing with having to undo and redo 2 car seats anytime we go anywhere)

Sigh. Any help is much appreciaited! Thanks ladies! Confused

We have a Graco Quattro Tour Duo stroller. Our Snugride carseats snap right in, and it can be used as a regular stroller later when our twins are older.

I'd recommend the snap and go. You have to just snap a buckle, it can't be much more than a stroller with an adapter. There are also only a couple that allow two seats, I would rather get the stroller I want rather than picking out of just a couple.

Most moms/MoMs like strapping the carseat into the stroller so if babies are asleep in the car you don't wake them up to go somewhere. Also, most regular strollers are only for babies that can sit up, I think?

I used keyfit30s in DSNG. it was actually easier then my stroller now to set up and break down...

My twins are 11 weeks old and I have the Chicco Keyfit 30s and the DSNG (Double Snap N Go). So easy to use. It took a few tries to figure out how to make the car seats work - and watching a few videos, but once I got the hang of it, I can get those seats in an out in seconds.

I also have the BJCM (Baby Jogger City Mini) Double which I will use once they outgrow the DSNG.

Rumor has it that Contours offers a free tandem stroller ($200 value, just pay $40 shipping) to MoMs so I am waiting on the girl's birth certificates to send away for it.

And as if that was not enough, I also just bought today a single Chicco Liteway stroller for when I am out with just one baby or if i want to push one and wear the other. I have to say I really like this stroller. I bought it because one baby has a series of Doc appointments with an ENT at the hospital and I needed a stroller. I fully expect to buy a second one of these at some point so the girls can be pushed individually.

I feel like a stroller garage.

The lady at the store who had twins said try to get a stroller that CAN have the carseats snapped into it. (so usually you need to get same brand of stroller and car seats.) my registry now has two chicco carseats (it has a 4lb minimum instead of a 5) and a chicco double stroller.

The store even showed me how to put the seat into the stroller.

So my main suggestion is go to a store, look at the strollers and carseats and strollers and see what you like best... And have them teach you BEFORE their are two babies to distract you

I had a DSNG and the Chicco Cortina Together. I liked them both until my girls were about 6 months. Once they wanted to sit like "big girls" and didn't need to be in infant seats all the time, they hated the Chicco. We bought a Baby Jogger City Mini and both my husband and I love it! The DSNG was awesome and a life saver at the beginning though!

We've decided to go with the baby jogger city select since you can do 2 infant carseats with it and we love all of the combos it allows for. It is pretty slick. We know someone willing to sell us theirs which is gently used. I would check it out.

We've got the Graco Duoglider LX - the Snugride infant seats snap in, and if we want to go without the carseats, the stroller has the 5-point harnesses so it's easier to use for smaller babies.

We have the Graco DuoGlider LX stroller with the matching Graco Snugride 30 carseats.We have triplets so we have a single stroller plus the double stroller. We like it!

We have a DSNG and will probably get the Chicco Keyfit 30s to use in it. I was set on the BJ City Mini Double for when they get bigger, but we were in Babies R Us today and the sales girl kind of sold me on the Combi Twin. 23 pounds for a double stroller, it folds up very compact, and it's about half the price of the City Mini Double. Everyone seems to love their City Mini though! But DSNGs are so cheap that I agree with the PP about using that and getting a long term stroller that you love instead of one that just works with your carseats.

I have used the double snao and go, while it is not the easiest stroller to push.I think that at first it is a good idea.Since if your babies are sleeping or the weather is bad, it is nuce to keep them in their car seats.

I know that the stroller air duo-allows you to put both seats in the frame.

We also bought a valco zee two and so far like it.I have only used it for walks around the neighborhood but we have bad sidewalks and it pushes great and is very narrow.
