Re: Van Shopping
If and when we get a van I'd really like it to have the built in DVD system great for long road trips!
We rented a Caravan in Florida and I enjoyed it. It was fully loaded except for leather seats. I'm not sure the Caravan base model comes with compares to its higher end but I thought the Caravan was great.
My sister has a honda odyssey and I think it looks like a space ship.
I pph my Toyota sienna. Having two RFing carseats, it was a must that the seats are able to slide.
leather is a must, kids are rough on fabric.
BFP #3 via cancelled IUI ~ C (2lb 3oz; HELLP) 5/16/11
BFP #4 via the natural (free!) way ~ E (8lb 11oz) 9/13/12
I never thought Id love my van but I do. Ive got a pretty basic one, the only thing I wish I had that I dont are the self opening/closing doors. All of my kids are small enough they cant do the sliding doors on their own.
The NPR Car Talk guys recommend vans by Honda or Toyota to get 180k+ miles out of them. We'll be getting my aunt's 2007 Town and Country. Happy van shopping!
