quad screen

I got my quad screen done and the results came back positive today for down syndrome. But its a slim chance. They said they would follow up on it on my next appointment. Has anybody had this happen and what was the result? Either way it doesn't matter. It is my baby girl and I love her dearly.

I didn't do a quad screen but we knew after my anatomy scan. Amnio confirmed it!

IF and it's really a big if, you get a positive diagnosis remember that you said it really doesn't matter. Because, surprisingly, it doesn't. Lauren is a year old and we're taking our first girls trip next month. I thought my life was over, not that I'd be traveling with her!

I had the quad screen done with ds... My ratio was 1 in 191 for downs syndrome.. I decided I did not want the amino because of the slight m/c risk and I did not want to chance it after having a previous m/c... My ds did not have downs syndrome but he is autistic... I did not have one with dd because the whole quad screen experience the first time was too stressful nth.. Good luck!
