Need some other opinions on this because I can't decide what to do...
So tomorrow (Saturday) is a memorial rugby tournament that my college rugby team hosts in honor of a teammate who passed away. The college is a little over 3 hrs from home, and I only get to see my old teammates about once a year at this tournament. So needless to say, this means a lot to me and I really want to be there, especially since they haven't met my LO, who is 8 1/2 months.
The problem is that the weather is supposed to be rainy in the morning and mid 40s all day. The plan is to do a day trip (leave first thing in the morning, hang out for a few hours, head back late afternoon/early evening). I can't decide if the weather is going to be too miserable to hang outside with the LO or if a chance of rain and 40s is worth "weathering" to see my old friends and honor a fallen teammate.
Have any of you moms been outdoors with your LO(s) in that type of weather? Would you do it again? Was it a terrible idea?
Help! THanks!!

We could get my parents to watch her for the day, but I really would like everyone to meet her. Plus, everyone will be bummed if the bambino isn't with us.
Could someone come with you and take the baby somewhere inside for part of the day? Your DH or parents?
I have had LO out in cold weather but I keep it short. If it's rainy, that can be the worst.
