Anyone got anything good?
Mine is more of an UO...or maybe actually a PO....
A lot of my friends with girls are very anti-pink clothing. Like almost agressively anti-pink. I love it because they give all the pink clothes they get as gifts to DD. I'll dress DD head to toe in pink (or any color for that matter) if it's free: )
I just don't get it. Blah blah gender stereotypes, but just as dressing your son in pink won't "turn him gay", I don't think dressing your daughter in pink will turn her into a girly girl princess.
Your turn!
Re: FFFC...or UO
Oh, just thought of a FFFC....
This week I've sent DD to daycare in her pjs. Every day. She's been having blow outs so I don't see the point in her ruining a clean outfit. The daycare ladies probably think I'm super lazy
FFFC: Anyhow, I wish my dd was more interested in TV somedays.
UO: I know that my inlaws (mom, dad, and sister) all mean well, but sometimes I just want to go a few weeks without seeing them. It always feels like such a big production when we get together. They only live 1.5 hours away. My mother and father in law are coming tomorrow. We didn't think that we need to also invite my sister in law. Apparently, we were wrong. Geeze, we don't need a family reunion every 3 weeks people. My sister in law is coming next weekend anyways. My nephew is 4 and very high energy. I love him to death, but am secretly hoping that my DS is a little more low key as a toddler!
UO#2: DH and I forgot to use protection the other day and is stirring up all sorts of emotions. I had no idea that I wanted to get pregnant again so quickly. I discussed it with DH. Apparently, he doesn't feel the same way.
UO/FFFC: I get annoyed when people on TB have to constantly point out the difference between gender and sex. Everyone gets it, just let people use what ever term they want!
I agree with the anti pink. When I found out I was having a girl so many people asked "You aren't going to dress her in pink are you?" I have a ridiculous amount of pink clothes for DD and I love it.
ITA! Every time I see someone get up on their high horse about sex v gender I want to say:
1. Who the f cares?
2. You have way too much time on your hands if this gets your panties in such a twist!!!!!!!!
My FFFC is that I have pretty much done zero work today bc all I can focus on is the fact that I am about to ovulate and need to get home to bone dh. It's far too early in this process for me to be obsessing this much already!!!!
FFFC: I have seriously considered stopping BFing to improve my chances of TTC. Then I calculated that it will be about $600 of formula from now till 12 months... Maybe I'll just continue and hope for a miracle. I mean that's how it worked for my mother and aunt, maybe I'll be just as lucky. *sigh*

So my cousin is having a shot gun wedding...whatever, but it is in 3 weeks and next weekend her future in-laws friends are throwing them essentially an engagement party....are you freaking kidding me? I realize the wedding is a "destination" wedding, but that was your choice if you want to have a reception once you get back that is one thing, but an engagement party two weeks before you get married is ridiculous! Uggg! that feels better!
And before any one says that it is jealously or whatever...because we are going to the wedding we had to cancel our May vacation plans that we had been hoping to take for over a year (before DS was even born)...so I think my anger on this issue is warranted.
UO--as for the pink thing...I have HATED pink since I was about 6...probably because I wore it everyday from age 3-6, so I was so excited when I had a boy...no pink! Now I do what to "try" for a girl next time and I realize that she will have a ton of pink stuff, but I plan to mix it up...plus if we do have a girl she will have a bunch of her brother's hand-me-downs.
Good luck to our TTCers!
I covered a shift for a coworker a few weekends ago. I found out on fb that it was so she could go in a fun trip with another girl from work. I was kinda butthurt about it. I would do anything to go do that.
I think the whole chit chat board thing is lame. Sure nov13 was funny to lurk on but cmon on... its run its course
this is red btw. Not an ae. I had no idea that i had my old email linked to tb
Have you been having periods? If so, it may not take a miracle. I am in the same state of mind as you though and cut back one pumping session per day this month to try to make sure I ovulate. If I hadn't gotten af back yet I am sure I'd be cutting back even more... I just really don't want to be pregnant close to 40!
I have to admit I love watching this sideshow play its way out! That family is such a collective media whore I get some sort of sick satisfaction that something is not going their way.

FFFC DS spent the night at my moms and he had food too but I did not send him enough formula. There's no just running to the store here. It's 25 min from her house and the roads were bad today. She had to give him almond milk.
lol! DH absolutely hates anything that says "I love Daddy" or "Daddy's snugglebug", anything like that. He says he doesn't want to push any opinions on her
