Help with spelling please!

Had baby boy yesterday, he's pretty awesome, his name is Luke. Anyways his middle name will be Everett but I'm not sure if that is the proper spelling or if SO is right and Everette is the correct spelling OR are both spellings correct? TIA ladies!

Congrats!  I've only ever seen it as Everett.  And, yes, usually a name ending in "ette" is female as that is what that suffix signifies.
