Is anyone else having bad circulation problems? I did some googling and found some sites saying it's normal in pregnancy but how much is normal? For about a week now, every night I wake up multiple times (last night I woke up probably 8 times though.... worst night) and the arm i'm sleeping on is extremely tingly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know... I was sleeping on it, duh. Ha. BUT so much so that it hurts to straighten it and it appears a little swollen until the tingly sleeping feeling goes away. But even then, when i'm laying in bed at night I notice all of my fingertips and toes feel a little tingly and it's constant.
Once I am up and moving around during the day I feel fine. No tingly sensation (not even my fingertips and toes), no swelling, no pain. I didn't have any feeling like this with my first pregnancy and it freaks me out a little. Is what i'm feeling too much and I should contact my doctor or does this sound pretty normal to you guys? Thanks in advance.
Re: Poor Circulation?
Is there anything you can do about low blood pressure or you just hang in there?
I beleive it is actually called pregnancy carpal tunnel. I get it a lot too, randomly through out the day my fingers and hand will get tingly and I have to drop it to my side to let the blood flow back in. At night I wake up and my arms is completely asleep, even if I wasn't sleeping on it.
From what I gather it is completely normal, but I do plan on mentioning it to my doctor, because like you, I wonder how much is normal. I worry that if I fall back to sleep while my arm is still asleep, it will cause some sort of damage by being asleep for too long. Silly I know, but it's a concern of mine.

I'm having the same issue. At night either one of my hands or both go numb. I'll wake up due to the tingling sensation and it kinda hurts. Usually, it helps to roll over to the other side and it provides some relief. I repeat this process mulitple times in a night. I went to the doctor today and he said it's normal during pregnancy. My hands are also somewhat swollen too and I was concerned. He said it's normal and nothing to worry about unless swelling becomes extreme. He mentioned eclampsia and preclampsia but I have none of the other symptoms high blood pressure, swelling and there was one more thing which currently escapes my memory. I would mention it to doctor but will most likely tell you the same thing it's nothing to worry about unless swelling is extreme. My hands are good if I'm up and moving around but sometimes I notice they'll get tingly when I'm up and about and I just try to switch up what I'm doing at the moment and it helps.
