Waiting for 1st appt...

I have my first appt on the 11th of March and am so nervous. I just want everything to be ok. I'm so excited but feel like I shouldn't be until I get the all clear...? I feel myself withdrawing a little around by husband and daughter .. Just in case. Is this normal?
