Every night I put DS in his crib the normal long way. He scoots around until he is laying horizontal and he just fits with his head by one railing and his feet by the other the short way if that makes sense. Anyone else's LO do this? Maybe it makes him feel more closed in and snug? I do have a crib wedge in there to make it more inclined like the RNP but I guess I don't need to bother since he doesn't stay on it....
Re: Likes to sleep horizontal in crib?
My son has been doing this the last couple weeks! We have his crib next to our bed as a co sleeper, he sleeps in it, it's pushed up against my side of the bed and that side rail is off of it. (Make sense?)
anyways, I've decided I'm going to start laying him down that way to see if he sleeps better. I think it's to feel snuggled in a way too. He works so hard to get turned that way in his sleep, but I figure laying him that way might help him sleep even better.
