Abdominal binder?

Hi I'm 10 days pp. I am wondering about using an abdominal binder. I didn't use one with my first cs because my incision opened when my staples were being taken out and it was just too painful. I have heard binding helps uterus to shrink and also provides back/ab support. Just curious as to who had used them and which
Ones work best post cs TIA

I am heavier and I did not know about the binder till baby #4. ONG it was AWESOME!!!!! I used the one that the hospital had. It was a PITA to get on just right, but I could move easier, it held things in place, my "overhang" did not hang so much so it kept the incision site nicer and able to air out (such as it can in a binder). I will be using it again with #5.

And I learned to ask for stitches AND glue, not staples. I don't think they work as way, but that is just my opinion.

I asked for one in the hospital and it really helped support my back.

I was given one at the hospital. I wear it all the time. I only take it off to take a shower. I love it. It's stretched out though (it's been 16 days) so I'm looking into splurging and buying the real deal. I was going to buy one at Babies R Us today, but they were out of my size so now I'm not sure where I'll get one.

With my LO I used the one the hospital gave me and it helped a great deal. But I'm plus size and One Size fits all is not always the case lol. The hospital belt worked but it was hell to get on. This time I'm ordering the AbdoMend. It comes in extended sizes and has tons of great reviews. I will be ordering mine in the next couple of weeks so I can put it in my hospital bag:-)
