Sleeping on Belly

My DD has just started sleeping on her belly. She started out with her head to the side, so I didn't worry about her breathing. Now she likes to bury her face into the mattress and it makes me worry about her. I'm constantly checking on her. I try to move it, but she either stiffens her neck or once I move it, she buries it right back in the mattress. Should I be worried about this?

If she is rolling and doing in on her own then there really isn't much you can do about it really....we have an angel care monitor which tells us he is breathing and if he stops an alarm sounds..good piece of mind for belly sleepers. Have you thought of trying one? Worth every penny to me!

We just ordered an Angelcare monitor as well because DS2 can not sleep any way but on his tummy.

THIS. Our LO would only sleep on his belly and since he had complete head control since 2 weeks old we let it happen, but only have getting a Snuza, it's a little expensive, but so worth some piece of mind. It clips to his diaper and if there is no movement gives a slight vibration and if nothing happens in 5 seconds sets off an alarm. It's never went off, but we slept better knowing we had it.
