Want to try CD, clueless

Prefolds? Inserts? Can someone explain the basics to CD. I have a an 5 month old and I am tired of sposies.  Any advice? Where do I get started?

I started CD my 5 month old last week and I LOVE IT it looks so intimidating but it soooooo not. We did a dozen pocket diapers bc my DH thought those would be easiest for him u stuff the microfiber insert in pocket and it ready to go we use these at night too and only had one leak it was my fault bc i didnt make sure.it was stuffed right and then i have the osocozy better fit prefold that are ment to be trifolded in covers and i love those we also got some stay dry inserts and bamboo inserts for diaper bag so it takes up less space u just use them like the prefolds lay in cover and ready to go we got too much stuff but my side of the family was alittle too excited for me going cloth haha.
