I can't believe I made it this far! Monday is the big day, I'll be having a c-section at 38 weeks, 2 days since Baby A is breech.
I'm really nervous about the surgery but my OB did a good job of telling me what each step will be, so I'm hoping all goes well.
I haven't had a growth ultrasound since 34 weeks and will have one this Friday so I'm anxious to see what their weights are. I also found out yesterday from my OB that their placentas fused into one - has anyone heard of this causing any growth problems? I'm surprised my MFM or the ultrasound tech (I get BPP's every week) didn't tell me about this!
Re: Monday is the big day!!
I had di/di twins, and my impression is that fused placentas towards the end are very common. Space is at a premium! My placentas were revealed to be fused after I delivered, and my babies were a healthy 6lbs 3 oz and 6lbs 7 oz. Growth was consistent the entire pregnancy.
Good luck!
