First tooth

LO cut his first tooth yesterday.  It looks like he'll get his second pretty quickly also.  The pedi told me told at his 4 mos. appt. babies don't normally teeth until 7-9 mos.  Guess we're ahead of the ball on this one.  (I had 2 at 6 mos.)  Anyone else who's LO has cut a tooth already?  If so, how young?

My LO has 2 teeth already cut through and he is 5 1/2 months

How old is your LO? Bumping from mobile and can't see your ticker. My LO is showing teething signs at 3.5 months and has white shadows under his gums but none have cut yet.

He is 5 mos. and 1 wk.  He began teething at about the sametime as your LO.  I was beginning to wonder if he'd ever get them cut. He'd hurt for a while and then it would get better.  Monday he was really chewing (more than usual) and was a complete drool bucket. 

To the other Moms whose LO's have more than one tooth does it get better now that he has cut the first, or is it different with each tooth?

My LO cut his first 2 teeth at 3 months old, right after our pedi had said the same thing "oh no, it can't be teething".  Then he got two more when he was 4 months old.  Now he's 6 months old and has 7 teeth!

No it doesn't get easier, at least it didn't for us.  Every single time he has cut a tooth, he has all the symptoms of a bad cold.  Runny nose, congestion, coughing, and trouble sleeping for about a week.  He also drools like crazy and chews on anything and everything.

Our LO is 2.5 months old and shes already cutting a tooth on the bottom!! We went to the pedi and she said that she was to young and that they normally don't start that till 7 to 9 months, and she told us that it could be a cyst from her bottle, but she said she could't say for sure but i'm pretty confident that its a tooth because she s really fussy and shes drooling a lot and she never did before!!!

I saw white shadows, but my pedi said they were just cysts...

OP, my LO hasn't cut any yet, but he's been teething for about 2.5 months, so I think next time he teethes, I might see some trying to poke through.

My LO is a few days shy of 6 months and she has yet to cut a tooth even though shes been showing signs for about 6 weeks now.
