We're getting a twin bed for DS this weekend & I wanted to get a really cute bedding set with trucks or diggers, etc. to get him excited about his new bed. But everywhere I've looked the comforter/sheet sets are super cheap quality - the sheets are rough, & the comforters look like they'll fall apart in the wash. Target has such a cute truck set but the quality is just not there... Can anyone recommend a good quality cute boys bedding set? I would prefer to buy locally instead of online so I can see the quality - I don't want to have to pay for shipping & then have to return it, etc... thx!

Pottery Barn Kids has super cute and good quality beddng but it is very expensive.  I splurged and got my son one set I'm very pleased with the quality.

Thanks for the tip - I'm looking on their website now. Did you get a quilt or a comforter?  It looks like they have more duvet covers & quilts...

I just got a sheet set right now, I plan on just buying a solid blue comforter somewhere else.  Haven't bought one yet though.

I second PBK. We needed queen size sheets and they've been awesome. Everything there is great quality

We got my DD's at Land of Nod.  The quality is great.  We purchased a quilt and sheet set.  My DD is a hot bod when she sleeps so we didn't want the thickness of a comforter.  Whatever you buy, make sure it's machine washable!  Her quilt has been through the washing machine many, many times (especially during potty training) and still looks brand new.  I think Pottery Barn Kids and Land of Nod bedding have fantastic durability.

We got our crib bedding and our son's twin size bed stuff from Land of Nod. I'm very happy with everything we've gotten there. The crib bedding is now being used by our daughter and it still looks like new. We got a quilt for him and it is nice and thick without being too heavy. Their stuff is a little pricey, but I would rather spend more money and buy something once than go bargain and have to replace it in a year.
