excited for baby jack!

jack got to have food for the first time last night! he has to have it through a feeding tube, but he was finally ok'ed to have breastmilk and did really well with it. today they are increasing the amount they are feeding him - go baby go!

 i'm off to the NICU in half an hour - hopefully more good updates soon!

Yay for baby Jack! My 27 weeker loves his breastmilk. When they started him on feeds they did 1 mL and said they would do that for a few feeds before upping the amount. Every time I turned around they were increasing his feeds. They never stayed at one amount as long as they said they would. Hope your Jack continues to tolerate his feeds.

Yay Jack! Both of my girls have done really well since starting breastmilk. Keep going little guy!!

That's awesome!  We had to stop and start a few times (which is very normal) so if that happens, it's ok.  But it's a great step!
