Thoughts on the name Hudson?

I can't believe ds2 is still nameless! I'm stressing.

Heard the name Hudson while on vaca last week and kind of liked it. Our big thing with names is a preference for something that doesn't immediately get shortened to. Nickname. Ds1 is Carter and our last name is cole. Just looking for feedback. Thanks! Fwiw, I know my mom isn't a fan as she instantly said " ugh, like the river?!". Haha.

Was in my top 5! However, I am from a part of Ohio where there is a city called Hudson and it happened to be one of my high school's rivals, so I just couldn't do it. Reminds me of a cute baby boy with rosey cheeks and a smooth talking teenager

I like Hudson...our last name starts with an H, so we wouldn't choose it for our little guy (we just don't like the sound of a Double H name!) But I think it is cute and classic, and one that will sound good on an adult.

It reminds me of the baby polar bear that was born at our local zoo a little over a year ago. The polar bears are my daughters favs though, so that's a good thing. I think it's cute.
