When to use?

When do you start using walkers and jumpers? When they can hold their heads up?

We started using our exersaucer when LO was 4 months old. He could hold his head up well himself and I felt comfortable letting him try it out. It took him a few weeks to get the hang of it and now that he's almost 5 months old, is getting the hang of it more.

LO has been playing in a bouncer for about 3 weeks.  He's been able to hold his up almost from day one.  I wanted to put him in it sooner but his little legs just weren't long enough and I was uncomfortable using a pillow under his feet.  GG just got him a walker last week for when he satys with her.  He loves both of them.  I think as long as they have good head control and can reach the floor with their feet you're good to go.

We started using the jumper at about 3.5 months, we just put a folded up throw blanket under her feet until she was able to touch the ground. She loves it so much!

DH is out shopping right now for a jumper! We'll try it and see how it goes, DS is 3.5 months. He loves bouncing on our legs, I think he'll enjoy it. We'll probably need to put something beneath it so he can get some traction!

We were told when they can hold their head up and can bare weight on their feet...meaning when you hold them on they bounce and jump using their legs versus just toppling over.

I brought our exersuacer out around 4 months.  He could hold his head and support some wieght.  He was okay for about 5 min.  Now he is 4.5 months he just started really enjoying it the last couple of days pulling on the toys and turning himself around.  I let him stay in it for 15- 20 min once or twice a day

We plan on getting one this weekend! Our LO is 4.5 months and is so bored with his bouncer seat!
