I know lots of us are handy on here or married to handy men.  Did any of you ladies drylock your basement?

We've got a concret block basement walls and it needs done.  On the front wall of the house we get that moisture effervesence, NOT Mold.

I was just wondering how time consuming it is or if its as easy as slapping on a coat of paint.

It's like painting but you need wash the walls with miriatic acid first. DH said its right next to the drylock at Home Depot. He just did ours a couple months ago.

He also said there is a drylock that has the acid in it.

And he just said to make sure your drain pipes go out a little further from your house than normal. And there are lots of videos on YouTube about it.
