Another Update

For those that have followed my story and provided support, I wanted to give an update. My betas have continued to rise but not double, and yesterday at 5w0d I had an early u/s. They did see what they are assuming is a gestational sac in my uterus and nothing in my tubes, so the chance of ectopic has decreased significantly - yay!

My beta yesterday went from 248 (19dpIUI) to 577 (21dpIUI) which is the first time it has actually doubled. This is totally confusing! The doctor did say the greatest probability is m/c at this point, but I have another u/s on Monday to see if either the sac has grown or there if they can see a fetal pole. I will continue to get my hcg levels checked every 48 hours until then.

So...still in limbo with little answers. I am willing myself not to get my hopes but sometimes its really hard.

Yay for doubling betas!! I know how hard this waiting can be. I am in waiting hell right now too

Well that is great news about doubling, hold onto that right now and I hope the next U/S shows what you want to see!!

The doubling is great, I know being in limbo is tough though. Hang in there and I hope you get some answers soon.

I would hold tight to the thought that your betas are doubling and that 5 week u/s usually don't show anything!  Positive T&P coming your way!!

It is so scary to get your hopes up when you are getting mixed signals.  But I am hopeful for you.  Doubling betas sure sounds encouraging!  FX for you!
