Would love some direction as where to find some good 1st time family blogs on Disney FLD please. We have 2 kids (5 & 4 yrs) Looking to go Spring/Summer of this year. Thinking of staying on property & flying.

disboards.com - its a chat forum and I found wonderful information.  There is a section for families at Disney and sections on the hotels, places to eat, places to stay, the parks themnselves.  You can ask questions or just read the comments that interest you.  I know their is also a Disney Mom's site but not sure what it is exactly - I bet if you google Disney Mom you will find it or they might have a link from the Disney site.  Have fun - we went in OCt and had a blast.

I found these things to be really helpful in planning our trip:

mousesavers.com   A great website with TONS of info about everything disney related.

https://disneyworldforum.disney.go.com The Disney moms panel on the WDW website.  It can be found under the help tab as well.

Also the book, Walt Disney World with Kids, was a big help in knowing what to bring, expect, detailed info about rides/attractions, do's and dont's, etc.

 Ditto this. Even as a local resident with annual passes, I still refer to disboards.com on occasion. Also, allearsnet.com. Even Disney Cast Members will refer to that website over their own official website.
