Birthday invite

I'm working on invites for Vivi's birthday. The theme is world/travel/globe...I'm really behind and haven't really figured it out exactly....BUT I need to get the invites out soon.  Can you tell me which, if any, of the invites you like?  I'm having trouble posting them directly into the post, but here are the links:

I think I like the first one. It has more of the map behind it, and I think really brings your theme out.

The second one is very nice also. It seems more formal, maybe that's not the word, not as playful.

I also like the first one best. The second one is nice, just depends if you're using a border.

Those are cute!  I like the second one.  We're also doing the traveling/globe theme, but I got a really good deal on invites a couple of months ago before I settled it, so her invites are pretty generic. 

 What decorations and things are you thinking of?  I'm not a very creative person, so I need as many ideas as I can find!

Hands down, the first one.  I teach graphics, too.  Better eye appeal and overall design.

CMS - our colors are peach and blue.  I ordered inflatable globes that will be part of the favor boxes.  That's about all I have planned so far! We'll be leaving on a trip to Europe the week after the party (hence the travel theme), and sadly the trip planning has taken priority over the party planning.  I'm hoping it all comes together in the end.   Here's a link to my Pinterest board for the party....

Fun!  I wish we could travel!  What a great experience.    We have the inflatable globes for favors and I ordered a cheap wall map to put behind the high chair for pictures.  DH also got her the hug-a-planet - he's been wanting to get it for her since we found out I was pregnant.  That's kind of how we decided on that theme (and it was on a list of ideas someone posted on here...).  Thanks for sharing that board - there are so many cute ideas!

I agree, I like the first one.  They are both nice, but the second does seem more formalish.
