1. I am wondering which items are must-haves as far as having two (for twins)?
Obviously 2 carseats, cribs and high chairs....but what about boppy, swings, bouncers, bumbo, etc.
EDIT: The first response reminded me...is it ok for the twins to share a PNP for the first few months in my room before I move them to a crib? Or should they have their own PNP or possibly 2 RNP?
2. Silly question, but WWYD? I currently have an Oeuf crib, which I absolutely adore and got for a discount. But I don't want to spend the money on a second with so many other things to buy ($760 retail). Walmart actually makes a knock off for $200. Would you buy the knock off which looks slightly different and have mismatched cribs, or would you sell the Oeuf for $400-500 (the going rate on craigslist) and use the money to buy 2 matching Walmart cribs?

Re: What are "must have 2" items?
1. I didn't start with two of some of these items, but this is what I ended up needing 2 of: PnPs, RnPs, bouncers, regular Boppy pillows, Boppy loungers, changing tables/diaper genies (upstairs and downstairs), high chairs, car seats, cribs. I have one swing, which was only used for two weeks by DS2. Both hate it now.
Regarding your other question, our boys have been sleeping in PnPs in our room. Regular PnPs only have a 15lb weight limit for the bassinet portion. Our boys were a combined weight of 15 lbs at one month and are approaching 15 lbs at nearly five months. There is a twin PnP, but it tends to get bad reviews for sagging in the middle. RnPs were great for the first month, as our boys were so tiny and struggled with reflux.
2. I would sell your Oeuf crib and get the Walmart ones. I have that same brand from Walmart and LOVE them. The wood feels so much nicer than the ones we saw at BrU and I didn't want to spend a fortune on two from a higher end store. I love that they are more modern and more affordable.
12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!
I only barely used my swings and never both at the same time. I had two bouncy/vibrate seats which came in handy a lot for almost everything. they still sleep in pnp's in our room beside my bed they WONT sleep in their crib for some reason and I let them sleep in the top of the pnp together until they were about 2 months and then separated them cause they were moving around to much and waking their brother.
something I found out I don't know if you know if you send pampers, huggies, and luvs a letter proving you have twins they will send you coupons for a free pack of diapers.
RnP = Rock n Play
2 rock n plays RnP, 2 changing tables, 2 diaper genies, 2 boppies. They share a pnp now but we will get another when when we need it for travel. 2 video monitors? Mine share a room, but each crib had a camera
We plan on having the twins share a pnp for the first few months. Ive heard they sleep better next to one another BUT we also plan on getting 2 rnps just in case and also for going to visit family.
As for the crib situation. I am very weird about things not matching. I'd sell the one and get two matching. But thats just me.
Thanks for the tips! I definitely will get 2 RnP. I may wait and make sure they both like the swing since it is so large and it sounds like some babies don't care for them. The Snug a Bunny was a lifesaver with my one year old, and if they both like the swing as much as she did, I will end up with 2. I have a single story, so I can save on needing items for each floor:)
And I didn't even think of the 2 monitors...that's a good one.
