My daughter Emma turned 7 months on 2/12 and she is still not STTN. She wakes up to eat every 3 hours!!! It's like having a newborn still! At around 4 months she was only waking once around 2am but since then she has gone back to waking up more and more. As soon as she eats she goes right back to sleep. We have also not even successful with sleep training. We put her down in her crib asleep around 8830. She will continuously wake every hour crying and need to be patted back to sleep. I need help!!! What can I do to make her STTN? She needs a good night sleep!! Any advice much appreciated!
Re: In desperate need of advice..
If you want to "make her STTN" the, research some different sleep training methods and figure out which one will work best for your LO/you/your parenting style.
We personally have found that the HSHHC book has worked great for both our boys.
Have you tried not feeding her when she gets up? If her weight gain is consistent then she probably doesn't need to eat every three hours at night. When she gets up, pat her and comfort her, but don't feed her. If she's like my LO she will be PISSED for a few nights, but eventually be fine and possibly not even wake up as much.
