transition to crib from swing?

LO has only slept in a swing since he was born (8 weeks).

Anyone have a swing sleeper and transitioned to PnP or crib? 

We just transitioned into his room with the swing so we're going to start naps in crib soon.

DD would only sleep in her swing for the first two months. We started doing naps in the crib and then eventually put her in her crib overnight. She didn't take to it right away and after many nights of trying we discovered it helped by having a lot of noise makers and light displays in her nursery. We started off by having her mobile on and a little aquirium music maker thing , they eventually stopped so DD would get upset. Then we added in this sound machine we found at Target that had a projection on the wall as well as playing a heartbeat sound that goes off continuously. So once the first things turn themselves off, she is left with a gentle heartbeat and slow moving projection. It sounds like a lot, but it was the only thing that would work. We are starting to take things away one by one and so far it's going great! LO is sleeping from 8pm til 6am!

wish i could help...my dd only naps in her swing, will not nap in her crib, nut she does sleep in her crib at night.

I'd start with naps in the crib, like you said!
