I feel like intro posts are awkward, but here goes. I have a son who's 17 months old. I work as a staff attorney for a blind judge. Before that, I was a public defender for almost three years. I left shortly after having DS because I could not handle the stress of that job anymore. My job now is not stressful at all, and I have very good hours. I feel really lucky to have found it.
DH works too as a freelance writer and tutor. And I think that's all I have to say right now
Re: May I join you?
I am now in private practice with a partner. It's fun and flexible but has its downsides too. DH is also an attorney working for a government contractor so my firm is a good fit for us for a few years but I am always thinking about what's next for me in a few years.
Barf! I never had a month that bad, and I still couldn't handle it anymore! I'm barely a lawyer in my current job, but it's easy so I can't complain. I'm not sure what's next for me either.
