Intro: Im 25 DH 27 we just had our second child and also have a DD who is 13 months now. I was used to be an active member on TB up until DD was born then took some time off and re-joined once I got my BFP. I am looking forward to getting to know you ladies!

Short Story: Cooper Bradley Jayson was born 2.14.13 at 5:41 pm weighing 7lbs 12 ozs 21 inches long!!

Longer Story: I woke up around 2 am on Valentines day with some contractions, and though they were braxton hicks so I drank a bottle of water and laid back down. 3 am come and I was still awake with the contractions getting more painful and not going away. I got some more water and went back to bed and watched TV. At 4 am they were to the point where I had to take some deep breaths to get through a few of them DH got up for work at 4:45 am and I told him to get dressed I was going to shower and we may be headed to L&D to see what was going on.

Got out of the shower in awful pain. Got dressed finished getting my bag packed just incase since I was 39 weeks. Got DD's bag finished and woke her up to get going. Got to the hospital around 5:30 or so and was 4-5cm. They wanted to watch me for an hour and see if anything happend. An hour later I was at 6cm!!! So guess who got to be admited to L&D? Me! By the time I got moved to the other side of the hall I was at 8cm (this took all of 15 min to get me moved mind you!!)

I was in so much pain I was begging for the epi as soon as I hit the bed! Had to wait until they got an IV going and blood work done. I was scared I was going to have a baby with no pain meds no my plan at all.

Got the epi and doc broke my water and all contractions STOPPED!!!!!! Which is very rare to happen so they have me oxy something (its like pictocin) to jump start labor again. I got to 9cm and my cervex started to swell. Docter said we could wait and see what happens, I said why are we going to delay this any longer Im going to end up with a c-section anyways it seems I want to be done!

Got wheeled back to the OR around 5:20 surgery started and our sweet little boy was born at 5:41pm weighing in at 7lbs 12 ozs (1 oz bigger then his sister) 21 inches long! He was the cutest little boy Ive ever seen!

As I was being stiched up the epi started wearing off and I could feel her closeing me up. I was given the option to be numbed again (which would be another 2 hours in recovery) I decided I would tough it out it was only 3 stiches after all! But damn they hurt.

Recovery has been harder then I though it would be, as my stomach is very tender everything hurts it. Cupid is doing great only lost 4% of his body weight which the Pedi was very happy about! He is a very quiet little fella and very calm.
