I've have high blood pressure since my 38 week appt (39 week appt tomorrow). They did run the lab work to see if I had pre-eclampsia the other day but I had no sign of it, but still having somewhat high BP (~134/93). Just wondering if anyone else was in or is in this boat and if they ended up inducing? Or if there were any issues having high BP through labor?
Re: High BP but not pre-e
ETA: Forgot to mention that there was no protein, no blurry vision but I am getting headaches

I had some high bp readings at 31w, and was put on modified bed rest. Nothing popped up until 38 weeks, when I had a high reading at the OB office. She sent me for monitoring at the hospital and said it'd eliminate the "white coat" element. My BP was fine on my side, so I was sent home on strict bed rest. I had no protein in my urine at this point. Lo and behold, at my 39 week appointment, it was still high and protein was present. I was told the end is the "witching hour" and it can turn to pre-e without warning. I cut out salt, I rested, I ate well... harumph =/
At that 39w appointment, I was sent again for monitoring and this time a 24h urine catch. My protein was +1 at the office, +2 with the 24h catch (+3 is pre-e) and I was scheduled for induction 3 days later. I guess I got a bit lucky though because my water broke on it's own the morning of my induction. I also wanted to add that during all my monitoring during labor, I never had a high bp reading, so labor stabilized me somehow! Archer and I have had zero problems because of it all.
Just wanted to share my experience, because no I wasn't pre-e, but it did kind of start turning that way at the last minute. Hope you have a problem-free end of your pregnancy!
