squats

I decided to do squats last night and today to help speed things along. I got an email from THE BUMP suggesting doing them at 39 weeks. They said how it helps progress labor and helps when pushing...no one tells you "don't expect to do more than 5 because you won't be able breathe!!". Holy moley those are hard when you have a watermelon in you tummy!!

  • We were taught in Bradley classes to do them throughout the pregnancy. I can't imagine trying to just start at 39 weeks! lol
    And yes, I get out of breath standing, so squats are definitely not able to do many. It also helps to just "squat" down and stretch for a while, not going up and down.
