Fert Report #2

Sorry it's taking so long to update. I'm pretty sure I have the beginnings of OHSS. So I've been in a lot of discomfort and I'm waiting for a call back from the DR now. 

I spoke with the embryologist and she said that it looks like 14 of the 16 are doing great!  She will biopsy them on day 5 which is Wednesday.  If she thinks there are a few stragglers she may even wait to send them out on day 6.  

She said for some one my age this is fantastic. They were only expecting 5 to 8 to make it this far so I feel pretty lucky right now. They will freeze them and wait for the genetic labs to do their thing.  Once they get the results back we will be able to figure out when the transfer will happen.  I think I maybe be looking at the end of March or the beginning of April right now.

14!!!! That's fantastic!! I'm hoping and praying for continued healthy growth so you have many to send for PGS testing.

I'm so sorry about the possible OHSS and tough few days you have had. I hope things improve for you as quickly as possible. Are they keeping a close eye on you? Big hugs.
