the glitter worked for pooping!!!

I posted a week or so ago about the dr. saying to sprinkle glitter in the potty to convince him that pooping is "safe" for the potty. Well, this weekend I knew he had to poop so I gave him the special glitter and he put some in the potty and sat down. I read him a Skippyjon Jones book and when I finished we looked and he did it!! This is the first time he has pooped in the potty, he is a pro at going to pee. Then sunday we did the same thing, and even though it took longer (2 books) he didn't scream or try to leave the bathroom, he just sat and did it! I was so skeptical at first but it really works...just wanted to share, thanks!

OMG, thank you so much for posting this!  DD has been potty trained for pee for 4 months now, but it's been a constant battle to get her to poo on the potty.  I'm going to buy glitter today.

Trying this, like, tomorrow.  Peeing is no problem, pooping is scary, for some reason!!

I hope this helps you ladies too. I also wanted to add that I bought 4 different colors so he gets to choose which color he wants to use. If we are in a hurry, I just choose one and we sprinkle real fast and he sits! GL to all of you...Potty training is so hard
