Let's discuss Mindy McCready

First of all, I do not know this woman beyond hearing about her tribulations in the news/tabloids etc.  She's a famous country singer, for anyone who never heard of her. 

So I heard a couple weeks ago her BF(?) maybe husband or FI(?) I don't remember the details, but I heard he died? I don't know if it was an accident or what.. But then I heard people were accusing her of being involved with his death somehow?

Then I heard a few days ago, CPS took her kids (2 boys) and placed them with foster care. 

Last night it was announced that she shot her dog, then killed herself.

That's all really horrible, I can't imagine what this woman went through and I feel very sad for her. But! Am I missing pieces to this puzzle or what? People are talking so much crap about this woman all over FB, basically mocking the fact that she killed herself, or saying really horrible things about her because she killed the dog first etc. It seems like this woman was pretty widely disliked? Does anyone have any back round on the story?  

This is such a sad story, 2 small kids are left without parents now.

I don't know much about her either, but I think she'd been in the news a lot over the years for drugs and alcohol.  It seems like she'd been in a downward spiral for a long time.  Still, that doesn't justify nasty comments all over FB.  It seems like she was very, very troubled.

Really? That's news to me. Who else died? I know I can google, but we have more fun this way.

This is crazy. Are they all killing themselves? This girl Mindy had a little baby, like 9 months old

Yeah, who else? That's what I remember her from. When I heard the news on the radio this morning I thought it was sad but not really surprising. Tough life.

It is such a sad story. And I cannot believe that about the 5 people from celebrity rehab! Not exactly a ringing endorsement for old Dr. Drew.

I feel horrible for her children she left behind.

He'd be a miracle worker if the few weeks he spent treating those people reversed years and years of addiction and mental illness.

Well, yes, true. But that is kind of my point about him, he is ridiculous to try to let people think that a few weeks can change their lives.
