First PP period question

Was your first postpartum period the same color as a normal period or was it brownish?  I'm bleeding again and I can't figure out if it's my period or not. I breastfeed, if that makes any difference.

I had mine about 2 weeks after I got my Implanon (progesterone-only BC) and it was normal color, a little heavier than pre-preg, lasted about a week.

Yes, it is the same color as normal. However, it is lighter than my normal pre-pg periods and less cramps too! I hope it stays that way! Oh, and I am not breastfeeding.
